My brother has some that he bought somewhere online. It is the weirdest stuff. Almost doesn't register correctly in the brain. Its hard, but feels brittle, and it almost totally weightless. I wish it was more abundantly available to the public. I would love to insulate the house with it.Provides 39 times more insulating than the best fiberglass insulation

Me? I like to see how things work. And by 'things', I mean everything. Given this fascination with everything under the sun, I have honed a skill of being mechanically inclined in multiple areas. I like to fix things. I am like a little kid when it comes to nature; I like to explore stuff. I turn over rocks out of constant curiosity always filled with the excitement of what I might find.

it's that stardust aerogel isn't it? Does your brother work for Nasa? I have a cousin that used to work with the satellite software.

I wish he worked at NASA. He found it online somewhere. He swears he sent me some, but I don't have any in my possession.
I had always wanted to work at JPL in Pasadena, but one of my old project managers worked there and told me it was very unfulfilling unless you were one of the high ranking scientists. He worked on the Hubble and Gallileo projects, but his contributions to each were so minimal, he didn't feel very rewarded.
well then -- I'm gonna find out how to get some!
(I guess everyone knows what thery're going to get for x-mas this year.)
